PlayStation Plus will exclusively concentrate on PS5 games
Starting in January 2026, PlayStation Plus will prioritize games designed for the PlayStation 5.
According to a post on its blog about the upcoming February games, the company mentioned that PlayStation 4 titles will become a less frequent feature in PS Plus offerings, appearing only occasionally in the monthly games and games catalog services.
With numerous players engaging with PS5 titles, PS Plus is adapting to this shift, the company explained. It added that some games may still support both PS4 and PS5 beyond this change.
Redeemed monthly PS4 games will still be accessible to members who remain with PS Plus. These titles will continue to be available as part of the service, barring their removal during regular updates.
