Red Dead Redemption 2 topped the weekly chart of best-selling premium games on Steam

Thanks to discounts, Red Dead Redemption 2 often ranks among the top-grossing products on Steam, but this time it climbed particularly high. For the week of January 21 to January 28, Rockstar Games' title claimed third place overall and first among paid games.

The rise of Red Dead Redemption 2 was anticipated. A few days ago, the game managed to break its own peak concurrent player record on Steam, reaching 86,717 users.

The title of overall chart leader was reclaimed by Counter-Strike 2, while PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, which held it last week, dropped to second place.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins didn't last long in the top ten. Over the week, it fell from third to 13th place. Another new release, Assetto Corsa EVO, also fell significantly from sixth to 52nd place.

Meanwhile, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which launched on Steam on January 23, reached the sixth spot. The simultaneously released Tokyo Xtreme Racer and NINJA GAIDEN 2 Black secured the 12th and 25th positions, respectively.
