Mediascope: By the end of 2024, RuStore surpassed most stores in terms of the size of its monthly active audience in Russia
In December 2024, RuStore was the second most popular mobile store in Russia, according to "Vedomosti" citing a Mediascope study. At that time, its monthly active users (MAU) exceeded 50 million.
The newspaper reports that only Google Play boasted a larger MAU, with its active Russian audience reaching 80 million people in December.
Here are the MAU figures in Russia for some other mobile stores by the end of December:
- Mi Store — 19 million users;
- Samsung Galaxy Store — 14 million users;
- AppGallery — 10 million users.
The article does not provide figures for the App Store.
It is reported that in the past year, RuStore's MAU has nearly doubled. In December 2023, the monthly active audience of this Russian store was 26 million people.
