The winter sale has brought Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate 3 back into the top 10 of Steam's weekly sales chart

The highest-grossing game on Steam for the past week was once again Counter-Strike 2. However, amidst discounts due to the winter sale and other factors, the rest of the chart saw quite a few changes.

Baldur’s Gate 3

The second spot in the Steam chart went to Dota 2 this time, thanks to the start of the annual Frostivus event. As a result, Path of Exile 2, which held the position a week ago, dropped to third place.

A 40% discount helped Elden Ring climb 47 positions in the overall ranking, securing seventh place. The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion did not make the chart because, unlike the main game, it is sold at full price.

Apex Legends also showed significant growth, climbing 20 positions to the eighth spot. Following it was Baldur’s Gate 3, which jumped from 46th to ninth place in just one week.

Meanwhile, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle saw a notable drop, falling from 12th to 47th place over the course of the week.

Many hits returned to the top hundred thanks to the sale. Among them were Hogwarts Legacy (16th place), God of War: Ragnarök (22nd place), Sons Of The Forest (29th place), Final Fantasy XVI (39th place), Ghost of Tsushima (54th place), and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (69th place).
