Path of Exile 2 - leader of the weekly Steam sales chart
The latest from Grinding Gear Games has achieved another milestone. Path of Exile 2 topped the list of the highest-grossing products on Steam for the week of December 3 to 10.
Path of Exile 2
This was expected. Last week, the developers of Path of Exile 2 announced that over a million people purchased early access to the game. The studio didn’t share a breakdown by platforms, but it seems the majority of gamers made their purchases on Steam. According to the SteamDB service, the peak online presence for Path of Exile 2 on Valve’s platform exceeded 578.5 thousand concurrent players over the weekend, placing it as the 15th largest in Steam's history.
Last week's leader, Counter-Strike 2, dropped to second place in the Steam sales chart. Following it was the Steam Deck.
Marvel Rivals is another new entry in the chart, debuting in the fourth spot.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle started in sixth position, right after PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. Notably, the game about Indiana Jones continues to increase its online presence on Steam. On the night of December 10, it reached 12,138 players.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 significantly improved its chart position over the week, rising from 48th to eighth place, thanks to the release of a Greece-themed expansion. The expansion itself secured 23rd place.
Meanwhile, the beta for the tactical shooter Delta Force failed to break into the top 10, landing at 22nd place in the chart.
