MGVC Publishing, a new venture by My Games, has been introduced as a mobile publishing platform
My Games has introduced MGVC Publishing, a new mobile games publishing division.
Nikita Matsokin is at the helm of this new venture. Matsokin joined My Games in 2020 after spending six years with Wargaming, where he most recently held the position of developer relations head.
MGVC Publishing has secured several games for its lineup, including Reef Games Studio's Fable Town, a merge-three game; Press Fire Games' shooter Battle Prime; and ReactGames Studio's Days After, a survival game.
The publisher is actively searching for projects that are approaching soft launch and are ready for monetization assessment. It is also interested in established mobile games spanning from casual to hardcore genres and is open to collaborating with Asian developers aiming to enter Western markets.
Matsokin remarked, "The current dynamics of the mobile market and emerging challenges necessitate innovative strategies. Effective user acquisition demands comprehensive expertise alongside refined publishing and operational enhancements to propel projects forward. Our vision at MGVC Publishing is to forge partnerships that foster shared achievements.
"Backed by over six years of establishing strong alliances with indie studios, our team stands out as a valuable partner in the sector, dedicated to enabling studios to reach extraordinary milestones."
This marks the second publishing venture by My Games this year, following the launch of the Knights Peak label in June. We spoke with the team at Knights Peak, the publisher focusing on PC and console games, to understand their commitment to supporting premium gaming experiences.
