Olivier Courtemanche has become Sony Interactive Entertainment's head of mobile, with Justin Kubiak taking on the role of head of mobile business development and partnerships. Their respective appointments were shared via LinkedIn.

Courtemanche previously shared responsibilities as co-head of mobile at PlayStation with Kris Davis, who seemingly remains in that position. He came to Sony in 2022, having worked at companies like Meta, Zynga, Walt Disney, and EA.

Kubiak, before this position, led licensing and developer partnerships for PlayStation's mobile division, joining in 2021 after his role as head of games partnerships at Samsung. His career also includes time at NCSoft, Scopely, and Disney Interactive.

Last month, Sony closed its mobile developer Neon Koi, which it acquired in 2022. Originally established as Savage Game Studios by former employees of Rockstar, Wargaming, and Rovio, the studio was rebranded to Neon Koi in late 2023.
