During the beta test, players are able to access a full character editor, introductory storyline quest, and a trial multiplayer mode where they can hunt two monsters from the start of the game.
The full release of Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for February 28, 2025. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
Following a decline in revenue and profit in the first half of the year, Capcom has high hopes for Monster Hunter Wilds. Interest in the franchise is further confirmed by the fact that previous titles in the series led the company's sales in the first half of the year.
