Steam has once again been added to the unified register of banned resources in Russia

Three pages from the "Community" section of the Steam platform have appeared in the registry of Roskomnadzor, which compiles websites containing information prohibited for distribution in Russia.

It is unknown which specific pages prompted dissatisfaction from the agency and why. One of them was added to the registry on October 2, and the others a bit later—on October 7.

In 2024, Steam has repeatedly been listed in Roskomnadzor's registry. The last time this occurred was in late August. In each instance, the Steam team promptly responded to government concerns and removed the detected prohibited information.

Update: By the evening of October 9, the number of pages from the Steam "Community" section in the registry had increased to ten.
