Pixel Gun 3D has been downloaded over 2 million times on Steam, with total revenue amounting to $210 million
The studio Cubic Games has shared the current metrics for the free-to-play shooter Pixel Gun 3D. Now we know how many people have downloaded the game on various platforms and how much it has earned.

First, let's recall that Pixel Gun 3D was available only on mobile devices for a long time. The mobile version was released in May 2013, and in April this year, Pixel Gun 3D also reached Steam.
Statistics for Pixel Gun 3D:
- over more than 11 years of existence, Pixel Gun 3D has earned a total of $210 million. This is the combined revenue of all game versions;
- the number of downloads for the Steam version of Pixel Gun 3D alone is 2 million, while total game downloads exceed 220 million;
- the mobile version of Pixel Gun 3D still consistently ranks in the top 10 highest-grossing and most popular first-person shooters on the App Store and Google Play, according to AppMagic service data. Specifically, in the first nine months of 2024, it ranked eighth in this category for downloads and tenth for revenue from in-app purchases.
The last time Pixel Gun 3D's metrics were disclosed was in October 2023, before the PC release. At that time, the game's revenue stood at $200 million with 185 million downloads.
At the beginning of the month, GDEV — the parent company of the game's developers — announced that the PC version of Pixel Gun 3D recovered its marketing and development costs on the day of release.
