On September 19, God of War: Ragnarök was released on PC nearly two years after its initial launch on PlayStation consoles. According to the SteamDB service, the game attracted 22,967 concurrent users at launch on Steam.

It's noteworthy that unlike its predecessor, God of War: Ragnarök requires linking Steam and PlayStation Network accounts. Because of this requirement, it is unavailable for purchase on Steam in countries where PlayStation Network is not officially present, such as in the CIS countries.
