Steam has allowed developers to post links to VKontakte, Telegram, and LinkedIn
Valve has expanded the list of social networks to which developers can link in dedicated fields on game pages in Steam. The list has grown by 11 entries.
The company reminded that previously developers could only link to YouTube, Discord, X, Twitch, and Facebook*. Now, the list of approved platforms also includes:
- QQ;
- VK;
- Bilibili;
- Weibo;
- Reddit;
- Instagram*;
- Tumblr;
- Baidu Tieba;
- TikTok;
- Telegram;
- LinkedIn.
Additionally, links to social networks can now be placed at the top of the game's community hub. According to Valve, this makes them more noticeable to users. If desired, developers can change the order in which the links are displayed.
