Satisfactory set a new record for online players on Steam after its full release

On September 10th, the factory construction simulator Satisfactory exited early access, where it had been for five and a half years. The release of version 1.0 attracted over 100,000 Steam users simultaneously.

According to SteamDB, on the day of the release, Satisfactory's online user count on Steam reached 104,677 people. This is the best result in the game's history. The previous record was set in November 2021, when Satisfactory's Steam online count was 34,238 people.

As a result, Satisfactory became the third most popular game on Steam published by Coffee Stain Publishing. Only A Story About My Uncle (190,590 people) and Valheim (502,387 people) had a higher online count.

Recent reviews for Satisfactory on Steam are "overwhelmingly positive." In 95% of the latest reviews, users praise the game.

Satisfactory initially launched in early access in March 2019 in the Epic Games Store and reached Steam a little over a year later. It is known that by February 2024, total sales of the simulator exceeded 5.5 million copies.
