Media: Black Myth: Wukong did not release on Xbox because of Sony
The creators of Black Myth: Wukong have signed an exclusive agreement with Sony's gaming division, claims Forbes journalist Paul Tassi. According to him, this is why the game has not yet appeared on Xbox consoles.

The developers themselves previously mentioned that the release of Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox is delayed due to technical issues. As the Game Science studio explained in early June, they needed more time to optimize the game for Microsoft consoles. They did not provide a new release date for this version of Black Myth: Wukong but expressed hope that the wait would be minimal.
Neither Game Science nor Sony has officially announced an exclusive agreement. However, Tassi reminded that Microsoft hinted at its existence. When asked about the delay of Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox, the corporation stated that it "cannot comment on deals that its partners have made with other platform holders."
