Steam has set a new milestone by recording 37 million users actively playing on the platform simultaneously
During the weekend, Steam set a new milestone by surpassing 37 million concurrent users. This achievement marks a significant increase from the previous peak of 33.2 million users recorded earlier this year.
According to PC Gamer, this historic number was reached on Sunday, attributed partly to the popularity of the recently released title, Black Myth: Wukong. This game set a benchmark as the highest-performing single-player launch on Steam, amassing 2.13 million concurrent players on its first day.
As for multiplayer games, PUBG continues to hold the record for the highest number of simultaneous players on the platform, having reached a peak of 3.3 million.
