Owlcat Games has announced its entry into the publishing sector

Owlcat Games has entered publishing, backing RPG projects from Emotion Spark Studio and Another Angle Games.

The company announced that, alongside continuing its own projects, it aims to support independent developers worldwide in creating RPGs and narrative-led titles.

Through this initiative, Owlcat will offer partners comprehensive services, financial backing, and expert guidance.

Additionally, Owlcat has taken over META Publishing, known for releasing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous in 2021 for both PC and consoles.

META, under its new direction, will prioritize games with a focus on gameplay and co-op multiplayer features.

Andrey Tsvetkov, newly appointed head of publishing at Owlcat, remarked, “We aim to collaborate with teams passionate about storytelling, even if their games don't strictly adhere to the RPG genre, provided they emphasize narrative, character development, and worldbuilding."

Tsvetkov added, "Having achieved our own ambitions, we are now equipped to assist other teams in realizing their dream projects."
