Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 in the top 10, the return of Borderlands, and other changes in the weekly Steam sales chart

The list of the top-grossing products on Steam for the week from August 6 to August 13 has been published. Three spots in the top ten have been taken by games that have not yet been released.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Thanks to massive pre-orders, the top premium product is Black Myth: Wukong. In the overall chart, it took second place, trailing only Counter-Strike 2, which has been leading the rankings for four weeks in a row.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 climbed from 54th to 9th place over the week, displacing Once Human, which dropped to 14th position.

The third upcoming game in the top 10 is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It landed in the tenth spot, climbing 21 places over the week. Meanwhile, the Call of Duty edition, which includes both Modern Warfare 2 and 3 along with Warzone, dropped from 16th to 29th place.

Other observations: Thanks to a major update, Helldivers 2 climbed significantly in the chart, securing 11th place. After a long absence, Borderlands 3 (21st place) and Borderlands 2 (50th place) returned to the chart, thanks to discounts and the release of a franchise-inspired movie. As for new entries, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit debuted at 17th place, Fields of Mistria at 30th place, Fate/stay night REMASTERED at 44th place, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown at 49th place, Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers at 53rd place, Thank Goodness You’re Here! at 81st place, SteamWorld Heist II at 83rd place, and Cat Quest III at 93rd place.
