Arkadium unveils a new publishing division
Arkadium, a platform specializing in online games, has introduced a publishing service designed for browser-based gaming.
The company's decision comes after the achievements observed from its developer program initiated in April, as detailed here.
To support this new venture, Arkadium has allocated $1 million to assist developers with financial backing and resources.
Additionally, Arkadium has unveiled a collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment for the launch of the official Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? game.
Under this new publishing service, six additional games have been introduced: Categories and Room Escape by Article 19, Element Blocks and Zoo Boom by Famobi, Multiplayer Chess Online by Foony, and Ridella by Dylan Kappor.
"The Arkadium publishing initiative extends our 'Arkadium for Developers' program, offering greater support for browser game developers," stated Dan Butchko, Arkadium's director of developer relations.
He further added, "This marks an important milestone in our expansion as the leading force in browser gaming, as we aim to develop the premier gaming platform in collaboration with talented and innovative game creators."
