VK Play has started selling Steam keys for over 3,000 games

The gaming platform VK Play has taken another step towards becoming a "single entry point" for Russian gamers. It has released for sale over 3,000 keys for games on Steam.

The platform offers keys for games that are officially available in Russia, as well as titles that Russian users cannot purchase on Steam. For example, VK Play sells keys for Helldivers 2, the Resident Evil 4 remake, God of War, Mortal Kombat 11, and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.

The games already available in Russia are mostly sold for the same price as on Steam. Other games often cost more on VK Play. For comparison: Helldivers 2 costs $39.99 in Steam (3,420 rubles at the current exchange rate), whereas in VK Play it costs 4,499 rubles.

Additionally, on the VK Play marketplace it is now possible to purchase in-game currency for Fortnite, Valorant, and other free-to-play games. Also, App Store and iTunes gift cards and World of Warcraft game time cards have appeared for sale.

It is worth noting that VK Play began experimenting with selling Steam keys in June. At that time, the platform offered keys for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. According to Alexander Mikheev, the head of VK Play, it became one of the best-selling items on VK Play.
