PlayStation will be present at the Tokyo Game Show 2024

Sony Interactive Entertainment plans to make a return to the Tokyo Game Show this year.

According to VGC, the last full presence of the company at the event was in 2019. The previous year saw Sony only highlight a selection of indie games.

In its digital State of Play presentation in May, Sony disclosed its 2024 offerings, which feature the live-service multiplayer game Concord, PC releases of Until Dawn and God of War, and Astro Bot. All these games are expected to be available before the Tokyo Game Show.

There was initial uncertainty about Sony's participation as the company already confirmed it would not attend this year's Gamescom, reported by GamesIndustry.biz.

The 2024 Tokyo Game Show is scheduled from September 26 through 29 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Other confirmed attendees include prominent names such as Capcom, Bandai Namco, Konami, Sega, and Square Enix.
