The summer sale brought Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 back to the top ten of the Steam chart
Last week, the Steam Summer Sale began, significantly impacting the sales chart. It helped many long-released games return to the list of top-grossing products for the week of June 25 to July 2.
Baldur’s Gate 3
Thanks to its largest discount ever of 20%, Baldur’s Gate 3 returned to the top 10. The Larian Studios game climbed in the chart from 22nd to 6th place. Additionally, due to the sale, Cyberpunk 2077 improved its position, moving from 65th to 9th place.
Games like Red Dead Redemption 2 (12th place), The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (14th place), Hogwarts Legacy (20th place), Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (21st place), Horizon Forbidden West (25th place), and Total War: WARHAMMER III (37th place) returned to the top 100 after a long absence.
Also, Forza Horizon 4 made a comeback on the chart, reaching fourth place amidst news of its upcoming delisting and an 80% discount.
The top-grossing game of the week remained Elden Ring. However, the expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, previously in second place, has now dropped to fifth place.
