Next week's concluding keynote session for GI Sprint will feature Xbox's AI and cloud experts.

Haiyan Zhang, who oversees Gaming AI at Xbox, alongside Brady Woods, who leads Xbox Game Creator Services, will elaborate on how modern technology can enhance game development processes. This session will be accessible in various formats including video, podcast, and article on GamesIndustry.biz on Wednesday, July 3rd.

GI Sprint is a newly launched editorial series that includes video panels, podcasts, interviews, articles, and more, focusing on producing video games 'cheaper, faster and better'.

Amid rising development expenses, several industry experts have shared insights on improving studio efficiency and streamlining development processes. This special series will run through Friday, July 5.

The series commenced with an interview with seasoned games professional and former PlayStation executive Shawn Layden, who addressed the unsustainable nature of AAA games and the need for change. Conversations also included IO Interactive CTO Ulas Karademir on his return to the Hitman studio discussing the benefits of in-house technology.

We also hosted a discussion on efficient failure strategies, featuring experts like Rami Ismail, FreeLives' Dominique Gawlowski, and Ant Workshop's Tony Gowland. Additionally, Gowland contributed a standalone article on creating shorter games.

This week features a video panel on how AI can both accelerate and challenge game development. Insights will be provided by King's AI lead Sahar Asadi on the use of technology in Candy Crush, and Team Sync's Graham McAllister on the critical nature of the concept stage for team efficiency.

The following week will cover various topics through videos, podcasts, and articles, such as hybrid working and the benefits of lean teams. The complete schedule is available here.

The series will culminate with a White Paper compiling all the articles, available for free download.
