The TrueTrophies team based their report on data from the analytics service Game Insights. However, the number of subscribers who tried Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus was not disclosed.

Previously, the largest release within the PlayStation Plus Premium tier was considered to be The Legend of Dragoon. In its debut week, it attracted 2.5% fewer premium subscribers compared to Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.

Looking at a broader scope, the release of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus ranks eighth among the games made available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers in 2024. The top spot is held by Dave the Diver. Also in the top 3 are Red Dead Redemption 2 and Need for Speed Unbound. The situation with PlayStation Plus Essential is unknown.
