According to reports, Private Division has ended its publishing agreement with Bloober Team

Poland-based game developer Bloober Team has reportedly had its publishing agreement with Take-Two's indie label, Private Division, terminated.

According to a financial statement from Bloober Team, they were informed of the deal's termination just recently. The collaboration was centered around an undisclosed survival horror project known as Project C, details of which surfaced last month.

The news was highlighted by games analyst MauroNL on Twitter, who mentioned that the terms of the termination are still under negotiation, and Bloober Team might look for another publishing partner.

In response to inquiries, a spokesperson for Take-Two commented, "As part of our cost reduction efforts, which align with our recent quarterly results, we have streamlined our projects within Private Division. Despite this, we continue to back a diverse range of titles, including Moon Studio’s No Rest for the Wicked, Wētā Workshop Game Studio’s Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game, slated for a 2024 release, and another title in association with Gamefreak."

Recently, Private Division has experienced significant restructuring. Take-Two announced job cuts amounting to 5% of its workforce, tied to its third cost-cutting initiative within a year. Additionally, reports suggest the closure of Rollerdrome developer Roll7 and Kerbal Space Program 2 developer Intercept Games, although Take-Two asserts that no studios have been formally closed. Regardless, members from Intercept Games have confirmed impending layoffs.
