The content agency Offbrand has launched a publishing label led by former Blizzard developer Jason Hall
Another game publisher has emerged. It's called Offbrand Games. It was launched under the umbrella of the content agency Offbrand, which was previously founded by streamers Ludwig Ahgren, Nathan Stanz, and Nick Allen.
Offbrand Games will assist developers with game marketing, localization, porting, and testing. Its first project will be Rivals 2—the sequel to the fighting game Rivals of Aether from Aether Studios.
Offbrand announced that one of the label's leaders will be Blizzard veteran and founder of indie studio Pirate Software, Jason Thor Hall. He will serve as the director of strategy. In his own statement, Hall said that he has seen too many times how publishers impose unreasonable conditions on indie studios. He has long wanted to do something about it and hopes that with Offbrand Games, he can help change the industry for the better.
