Black Myth: Wukong topped the weekly Steam chart
Recently, the creators of Black Myth: Wukong opened pre-orders for the game, and Steam users immediately began placing them en masse. As a result, for the week from June 4 to June 11, the action RPG about the Monkey King climbed to the top of the sales chart, surpassing the portable PC Steam Deck and free-to-play hits like Counter-Strike 2 and Destiny 2 in sales.

This isn't too surprising considering that Black Myth: Wukong is currently leading in Steam by wishlist numbers. Moreover, at the Summer Game Fest 2024 presentation, the developers reminded everyone of the upcoming game release, scheduled for August 20.
Other observations in the chart: the multiplayer shooter Bodycam, developed by two Frenchmen aged 17 and 20, made it to the top 10. Thanks to a 50% discount, sales of Street Fighter 6 significantly increased over the week, moving the game from the 65th to the 10th position. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI also returned to the chart, landing in 19th place. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 continued to fall, dropping to the 24th place.
