In the new Tesla electric cars, support for Steam has been disabled
Tesla has begun warning buyers of Model X and Model S electric cars that they will not be able to run games from Steam on the onboard computers. Other entertainment features will continue to function without changes.

It is assumed that Steam support is only disappearing in new electric cars. In previously sold vehicles, it will remain available.
Tesla's electric cars gained Steam support at the end of 2022. At that time, it was reported that drivers would be able to play "thousands of games" from the store, including Cyberpunk 2077, Cuphead, and Sonic the Hedgehog.
