Helldivers 2 remains top-grossing game on Steam for 4th consecutive week, Supermarket Simulator climbs 30 places

Arrowhead Game Studios continues to reap the benefits of its grand success, with Helldivers 2 still dominating the Steam charts. No other game can dethrone it for the fourth week in a row.

Helldivers 2 remained the highest-grossing product on Steam for the week of February 27-March 5. It outperformed Steam Deck and popular free-to-play titles like Counter-Strike 2 and PUBG.

When it comes to premium games, Last Epoch 2 came closest, landing at #5 overall. Other notable releases of the previous week declined on the charts, with survival game Nightingale dropping 57 positions to #64. Poker roguelike Balatro, which reached profitability within an hour of its launch, remained in the top 15.

There is also a new viral hit on Steam. Supermarket Simulator, a job sim from ex-mobile developer Nokta Games, climbed 30 places to #12 overall. Currently in Early Access, the game is gaining massive attention from both streamers and players, making it another indie success of 2024.

Several upcoming games also made it into the top 30, laying a solid foundation for their future success. Saber Interactive’s Expeditions: A MudRunner Game landed at #28 overall, while Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 climbed 32 positions to #21.

Sales of other Capcom titles also increased due to discounts, including Monster Hunter: World (returned to the charts at #20), Street Fighter 6 (#24), Monster Hunter World: Iceborn (#41), Monster Hunter Rise (#42), and Resident Evil 4 Remake (#61).

Euro Truck Simulator 2, which went 75% off during the recent Dinos vs. Robots fest, experienced a huge boost in gross revenue, jumping from 93th to 27th place. Stardew Valley and Horizon Zero Dawn, which also participated in the fest, returned to the Steam charts at #32 and #36 respectively.
