The monthly audience of the PS version of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales grew by 77% after the premiere of Spider-Man: Web of Universes
On May 30, the premiere of the animated film “Spider-Man: The Web of Universes” took place. After its release, many more people began to play games in Marvel’s Spider-Man series, according to the analytical company Ampere Analysis.
In June, the monthly active audience of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PlayStation consoles reached 2.71 million people, an increase of 34% compared to May. The monthly active audience of the console version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales grew even more — by 77% to 3.65 million.
How the audience of PC games has changed is not reported.
Another reason for the sharp increase in the audience of games, analysts say, could be the gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It was shown on May 24 at the PlayStation Showcase presentation.
