In three days, the remake of Resident Evil 4 sold 175 thousand copies in Japan — this is only on PlayStation

The remake of Resident Evil 4 was released on Friday, March 24 and immediately became the best-selling console game of the week in Japan. According to Famitsu estimates, by Monday only the owners of PlayStation consoles had bought it 175 thousand times.

89.6 thousand copies sold were for the PS5 version, and the remaining 85.37 thousand copies sold were for the PS4 version. It is unknown how many times the Japanese have bought versions of the Resident Evil 4 remake for the Xbox Series and PC.

Earlier, Capcom reported that global sales of the Resident Evil 4 remake exceeded 3 million copies in two days. This is the largest release among the remakes in the series.
