France fined Apple €1 million. The reason is the anti—competitive policy of the App Store

Apple is facing a new fine. The Paris court ruled that the company had created unfavorable commercial conditions for developers in the App Store, and demanded to pay a fine of € 1 million.

The court did not require Apple to change the rules of the store. It is expected that the company will soon have to rework them due to the entry into force of the European Digital Markets Act or DMA.

Earlier, Bloomberg sources reported that Apple may allow the use of third-party iOS app stores in Europe next year.
