Google is facing a large class action lawsuit. The reason is the anti—competitive policy of Google Play

The District Court of the Northern District of California has consolidated several Google Play-related lawsuits into one. Now it is filed on behalf of 21 million American users at once.

The plaintiffs accused Google of violating US antitrust laws. In their opinion, the company abuses its position in the market and charges too high a commission. Americans are also unhappy that Google advises not to download apps outside of Google Play.

It is assumed that Google’s actions caused $4.7 billion in damage to users across the country.
