In September, App Store revenue fell by 5% — the biggest drop since 2015

This was reported by analyst Eric Woodring from Morgan Stanley, who relied on Sensor Tower data. In his opinion, App Store users began to spend less primarily because of problems in the global economy.

Wooding added that the gaming revenue of the store had fallen especially hard. As a result of September, it decreased by 14% at once.

As for Google Play, its September revenue also fell — by 9%.
