Apple will raise prices in the App Store in a number of countries in Europe, Asia and South America

The cost of apps and in-app purchases (with the exception of auto-renewing subscriptions) will change on October 5. This will happen in all countries that use the euro, as well as in Chile, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Sweden and Vietnam.

On average, prices will increase by 20%. For example, this will be the case in EU countries, where the minimum cost of the application will increase from €0.99 to €1.19. But in Japan, the price tag will rise immediately by 30% to ¥160.

Apple announced that prices will rise in Vietnam due to changes in tax legislation. The reason for the increase in other countries is not specified.
