Bandai Namco: Consolidation harms small publishers, depriving them of access to the best studios

Arnaud Muller, Chief Operating Officer of Bandai Namco Europe, expressed his opinion about the boom of M&A deals in the gaming industry. He believes that consolidation has made it more difficult to work with studios and it is especially difficult for small publishers.

Mueller noted that Bandai Namco is in a privileged position compared to small companies, but it also has to put a lot of effort into preserving IP rights and not losing partners.
