Apple was sued again because of the monopoly position of the App Store
The French companies Société du Figaro and L’Équipe 24/24, as well as the association of providers Le Geste, appealed to the District Court of California. They are dissatisfied with the fact that Apple does not allow third-party app stores on iOS, which is why developers are forced to pay an “inflated” commission.
In the complaint, the companies indicated that Apple’s actions are aimed at destroying competition and there is no justification for them.
Apple has not yet commented on the lawsuit.
