The court rejected a class action lawsuit against Sony related to the ban on selling game keys for PlayStation

The District Court of California was not convinced by the arguments of a group of gamers who accused Sony of monopoly a year ago. Judge Richard Seeborg upheld the company’s appeal, but indicated that the plaintiffs could still try to appeal the verdict.

Recall that the conflict broke out last May. Then several Americans said that since 2019 Sony allows you to buy keys to digital copies of console games only in the PS Store. At the same time, in their opinion, the price tag for keys is unreasonably high. In some cases, digital copies are 175% more expensive than the same games on physical disks.
