"This is a technical error" — Sony said that PlayStation Plus subscribers do not need to reimburse past discounts

The other day, Asian players started complaining about the new version of PlayStation Plus launched in the region. Allegedly, when switching to more advanced levels, users need to pay extra if they bought a subscription with a discount in the past. Now Sony has stated that everything happened because of problems in the operation of the service.

The company indicated that it had already fixed the error. Sony promised to return the money to everyone who faced this.

Sony did not comment on the letter from the Hong Kong PlayStation support service, which got online yesterday. Recall that it was claimed that subscribers still need to compensate for discounts.
