Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics games have been returned to Russian Steam. UPDATED
The games of the Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy series and many other projects of Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics studios have become available to users from Russia again on Steam.
Officially, the resumption of sales in Russia was not reported. Probably, the games appeared in the regional version of Steam due to a deal between Square Enix and Embracer Group. Recall that in August 2022, the Swedish holding bought Eidos Montreal, Crystal Dynamics, as well as Square Enix Montreal and a number of large game franchises for $ 300 million.
The games Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics were removed from the Russian Steam in March 2022.
UPDATED: On March 8, the games disappeared from Steam again.
