New icons in the Google Play Store now show changes in the position of apps in the charts

Google has slightly updated the icons in the Play Store. Thanks to the innovation, users can see whether an application is falling or growing in the charts.Now you can see an arrow under the position of the application or game in the chart.

Depending on its direction (up or down), you can see whether the dynamics of the position of an individual application is growing or falling relative to others.

In theory, this gives an idea of how the popularity of applications is changing and which ones are trending right now.

However, such an innovation raises a number of questions. Firstly, it is unclear how this information can help an ordinary user. Secondly, it is not known for how long the dynamics is displayed and by how many positions the position of a particular application has changed.
