Steam Sales Chart: Spider-Man remaster became the most successful game of the week

#2 and 3 — Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
On August 12, the remaster of “Spider-Man” was officially released on PC. The title almost immediately became Sony‘s second most successful release on Steam by peak online, second only to God of War. On the premiere day, more than 60 thousand people played it at the same time, and a little later this figure rose to 66.4 thousand people
For comparison, the peak online of other Sony games on Steam:

- Horizon Zero Dawn — 56,557 people;
- Days Gone — 27,450 people.
The remaster’s grades are also fine. On Steam, it garnered 96% positive reviews, and critics on Metacritic rated it 87 out of 100.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered#4 and 6 — Cult of the Lamb
Two more lines in the fresh chart went to a game about an obsessed sheep trying to found a cult. Cult of the Lamb started on August 11 and attracted 61.78 thousand simultaneous players on the first day. At the time of writing the news, its daily peak online has decreased to 51.27 thousand people.
As for ratings, Cult of the Lamb was positively rated by 88% of players.

The fifth place went to the urban survival Farthest Frontier, released in early access format on August 9. The project was warmly received — it has 84% positive ratings, and the peak online is 24.9 thousand people.

The next novelty in the chart is the Two Point Campus university management simulator. It was released on August 9. At the time of writing the news, the game reached a peak online of 7.5 thousand people and received 86% of good reviews on Steam.

Stray, which was the leader in sales among games for the previous three weeks, moved to the eighth line of the rating. Its daily peak online continued to fall, dropping to the level of 3-6 thousand people.
