HeroCraft's Publishing director has left the company
Sergey Kopov, who headed the publishing division of HeroCraft, announced his departure from the company.
He announced this today, January 20, on his Facebook page.
Sergey, who has been working at the company since June 2015, explained his departure with a desire to focus on one, not several projects.
“I have been publishing for the last 5 years, this work involves sifting through a large number of projects, communicating with many external teams, working in parallel with a dozen games. This is an extremely valuable experience that develops expertise and a pragmatic approach. However, lately I have begun to feel an inner need to concentrate my efforts on one project. I would like to devote more time to each aspect, immerse myself in production in detail. Perhaps it will be your own project, or maybe not – it will become clear within the next six months. We parted ways with HeroCraft, maintaining mutual respect. If you have any questions about the publication, now contact Sergey Manucharyan,” Sergey said.
Kopov is also the founder of the Sunday Games game development studio and Publisher Wanted, a publisher search service.
