About bankruptcy with reference to documents found on the web, – writes PoketGamer.

The decision to declare the company bankrupt was made by the court in early August. This was the result of the opening of the Bulkypix insolvency case at the end of March 2016. After that, the French tried to find a buyer who could close her debts.

It is not known exactly what amount was discussed. With a turnover of $2.7 million (€2.5 million), the company’s net loss at the end of 2014 amounted to $970 thousand (€871 thousand). By the current date, given the company’s lack of hits and major new releases, the amount could have grown significantly.

The company did not notify its development partners about the bankruptcy. Some of them found out that Bulkypix is not going through the best period in their lives “second-hand” when they began to try to find out why money from game sales is not being paid.

The developers are unable to break the contract now. As it was stated to one of the developers: “according to French and European laws, even if it is mentioned in the contract in any way, the opening of the bankruptcy process cannot be the only reason for the termination or cancellation of the contract.”

But it is still possible to try to regain the rights to the games. This, according to TouchArcade, was found out by those developers who still managed to contact Bulkypix. To do this, you need to fill out this form and send it to the court administrator.

Bulkypix, recall, was known as the publisher of games such as Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf, Bardbarian, Meltdown and many others.
