TestFairy is a new platform for testing applications for Android
The Israeli company TestFairy has launched a platform for testing applications for Android.
As you know, a large number of different devices running this OS creates additional problems for developers and therefore services that simplify testing are quite in demand.
One of the main differences between the TestFairy solution and competitors is that the developer does not need to integrate any SDK or API into their applications. The developer simply uploads the APK (Android application file) to the system, which itself sends out invitations to beta testing. Then, after installing the applications, TestFairy collects key metrics from devices, including data on CPU, memory, GPS, network resource usage, and phone signal strength. In addition, developers receive screenshots and videos from specific devices, which show how their application looks and works.
At this stage, the TestFairy service is free, but its developers plan to add a number of premium services in the future.
