Silver Lining Interactive, known for publishing indie games, has introduced the Silver Bullet Programme. This program is designed to support and spotlight independent game developers creating the next wave of impactful gaming experiences.
Launched with an explanatory video on August 14, 2025, the Silver Bullet Programme presents indie developers with up to $100,000 in funding. It promises bespoke publishing collaboration, support in marketing, quality assurance, and porting, along with close guidance from the publisher while ensuring complete artistic autonomy.
In a statement, Silver Lining Interactive emphasized their intent to back fresh, original creators in the gaming industry. “We seek to partner with developers who are creating engaging and daring games,” they stated.
The company, known for publishing games like Spirit of the North, is on the lookout for projects that capture attention swiftly, encouraging sharing, and exhibit what they term “the Riptide Effect”—an immediate and sustained player engagement.
Ross Griffith, the head of marketing, expressed that groundbreaking games often originate from unconventional backgrounds or spontaneous projects. “Silver Bullet is meant for extraordinary and unique games to have their moment. Our approach is not to reshape visions to fit perceived marketability but to nurture and bring unique visions to their intended audience,” Griffith noted.
Griffith added, “Our goal is to empower developers who have a compelling game and the determination to make it happen. We want to be their partners in turning these ambitions into reality.”
At Gamescom 2025, Silver Lining Interactive is keen to meet developers curious about the program and is hosting a “Pitches and Pints” event at The Corkonian pub in Cologne on August 21, 2025, at 6:30pm CEST. Developers not attending Gamescom can learn more here.
