Players boycott FIFA 18 due to bugs and balance
Electronic Arts is boycotting again, this time by FIFA 18 fans. Sportssim fans launched the #FixFIFA campaign with an appeal not to buy the game on sale on the occasion of “Black Friday” until the developers fix their mistakes.
Some players in FIFA 18 complain about numerous bugs and exploits. One of the users created a 43-minute video with a demonstration of 50 bugs in a football simulator.
Other gamers are not satisfied with the conditions of the weekly Weekend League event, in which you can earn game rewards.
Weekend League requires playing 40 matches every weekend, each of which lasts 20 minutes. That is, to spend 13 hours playing the game.
Disgruntled gamers are calling for a boycott of discounts for FIFA 18 on the Reddit resource. They also created a petition on the website change.org , in which they require EA to respond to their requirements. Over 28 thousand people signed the petition in 3 days.
Recall that a week ago, Electronic Arts found itself in the epicenter of a scandal because of the online shooter Star Wars Battlefront II. Gamers did not appreciate the content acquisition system, which required them to spend more than 4,000 hours in the game or spend $2 thousand on loot boxes to open all the game content.
