A mobile game based on the animated series Futurama will be released
In the official Futurama Facebook group, an announcement of a mobile game based on the series appeared.
“Get ready to meet brilliant robots, evil forces and new adventures,” reads the post. The poster attached to the message has the slogan “Release The Drones”. That’s probably what the game is called. The main character of the title is supposed to be android Bender, one of the central characters of the series.
Futurama is owned by Fox Media Corporation. Previous projects for the company’s franchises were The Simpsons: Tapped Out by EA and Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff from TinyCo Studio. Both games were shareware. We assume that the Futurama title will be distributed according to the same model.
The creators of the series promise that the game “will appear in the near future.” The exact release date of the project has not been named. The link in the post leads to the site of the future game, where you are invited to subscribe to news about the project.
