Survival simulator Don't Starve appeared on tablets
Canadian Studio Klei Entertainment has ported its game Don’t Starve to mobile.
The title is called Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition. It costs $4.99 and is currently available only on Apple tablets. The game repeats the original project in everything except management – it was adapted for mobile.
The iPad version includes the Reign of Giants add-on and all existing updates to the game. To launch, you will need an iPad 3 or iPad mini 2 and an iOS 8 or older operating system.
Whether to wait for the game on the iPhone is still unknown. One of the authors of the project shared a photo on Instagram in which he tries to put a tablet with Don’t Starve in his pocket. In his other pocket he has an iPhone, which also shows the game. Perhaps this is a hint that Don’t Starve will be released on smartphones soon.

Klei Entertainment does not plan to launch the game on Android yet, according to the resource Pocketgamer.co.uk . Although the studio does not completely exclude such a possibility.
Don’t Starve is an indie survival horror game with a randomly generated open world. It appeared in 2013 on Steam. A year later, a version for PS 4 and PS Vita was released.
The name Don’t Starve translates as “don’t starve”. This is what the player is doing: being alone in a gloomy unfamiliar world, he gets food. If he does not succeed during the day, he will die. If you do not find a light source before sunset, then the character will be devoured by monsters living in the dark. Along the way, the hero tries not to go crazy. The game has a change of seasons, and the character also needs to be ready for them. During the day, monsters can interfere with the search for food.
