Square Enix announced its new RPG in March – at the annual Game Developers Conference 2015. The audience was shown a few seconds of gameplay and informed that the game would be built on the Unity 5 engine.
The developers kept their promise. One high-level graphics engine is not explained – however, it definitely played its role. The game is beautiful. We think when another developer talks about “console-quality graphics” – he imagines exactly such a picture.
It is clear from the video that the orientation of the screen is vertical – uncharacteristic for an RPG. The combat system is close to the previous classic games of the Final Fantasy series. There is a step-by-step mode in which the player can carry out either a standard attack, or apply a cool skill, drink a potion or do something else.
But so far this is just our guess – the game is not localized yet.
The Touch Arcade resource suggests that the title can be expected on world markets in a couple of months after its release in Japan.
Let’s add that the game is distributed according to the shareware model. You can download it for Android here, for iOS – here.
