Age of Empires: Castle Siege turned out to be another clone of Clash of Clans
A trial launch of the Age of Empires: Castle Siege mobile game from Microsoft on iOS took place. The title, like many other projects before it, copies the sensational Finnish hit Clash of Clans.
The Microsoft project quotes the game from Supercell not only in terms of gameplay, but also visually. Instead of a barbaric theme – knights, this is where the differences end.
The game appeared on Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8 in September last year. In the first weeks, it was among the hundred most downloaded games on the Windows Phone Store, then the indicators began to steadily decline.

Now Age of Empires: Castle Siege is in a trial run in the Canadian App Store and will soon appear in the world’s “apple” stores.
Recall that the project in question belongs to the Age of Empires series of historical strategies. The publisher of each of them was Microsoft Game Studios. The first Age of Empires was released in 1997. In total, according to the publisher itself, about 15 million copies were sold.
